Landlords, we pay your rent, if your tenant doesn’t. Guaranteed!

Will I always receive my rent payments on time? Yes
Will The Rent Shop pay my tenant’s rent should they fail to do so? Yes

The Conditions of the Guarantee are:

  • The tenant must have been selected by The Rent Shop.
  • New property management agreements must have a minimum 12 month term.
  • The guarantee does not apply to periods of vacancy between, or before or after tenancies.*
  • In the event that the property or part of it is affected by some unforeseen event that reduces or negates the tenant’s obligation to pay rent (i.e. fire, earthquake, death of a tenant etc.), the guarantee is reduced or negated for the period that such obligation is reduced or negated.
  • Where The Rent Shop makes a payment to the property owner under the terms of the Rent Guarantee, in lieu of rent not paid by the tenant, such rent shall be recoverable by The Rent Shop from the tenant and retained by it in reimbursement of guarantee payments made.
  • Rents paid under the Rent Receipt Guarantee will be paid monthly.
  • In the event of a natural disaster, act of god, or epidemic/pandemic event affecting
    the tenant’s ability to pay their rent, the Rent Guarantee will not be paid.
